I will not explain how to install Xposed Framwork not Gravity Box, this questions are answered in this posts:
http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.ceco.gm2.gravitybox

Just want to say that i use both daily in my Revolution with Android and the device is much better now than was.
Just install both and configure them. Notifications using led buttons works (we modify kernel for get it), and all customizations too. Using Inteligent Network Mode will let you save more battery. We modify kernel too so brightness now works better.

Just test it and will see the difference.

REVOLUTION by (gp) / GP Revolution GPL, Gaia and Gecko code
« on: March 27, 2014, 03:54:43 AM »
As we promised here you can get the code that legaly we need to share. With this code it's not possible to build a full image for Revolution (neither Android or FFOS), so dont ask for it right now. We are working to get some way for you to build your own images, and it will be released when it's ready.

With Gaia and Gecko source code you can change FFOS for Revolution, for more info about how to build it search in MDN (Mozilla Developer Network) webpage.

Gaia: https://github.com/gp-b2g/gp-revolution-gaia
Gecko: https://github.com/gp-b2g/gp-revolution-gecko

REVOLUTION by (gp) / Firefox Bugs
« on: March 26, 2014, 05:34:28 AM »
As there are two threads about bugs and to know which are from Mozilla and which not i have opened this thread.

Those are the bugs that you indentified in the other posts. I added more info about it:

FIXED or Mozilla related:

* Battery draining problem.
* Only capital letters displayed on onscreen keyboard: Mozilla changed it from 1.2 to 1.3. because a performance problem https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=860318#c60 (thanks xinouch)
* Marketplace: only the first and last preview image are displayed but not any preview images between if language is set to German in phone settings. Tested in the last fota (post-26 march) and doesnt happens.
* adb disconnects when the screen turns off: Its the way that Mozilla thinks it should work. In Android this doesnt happens.
* Audio volume controls seems to be recognizing just two levels -> on and off; volume is not changing at all: Tested with Music player, Video Player and some games and is working ok with last fota (post 26-march).
* Email application problems: There are many bugs related with sync and email https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=903696 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=977617 etc.
* Marketplace problem when More button is pressed: Doesnt happens with updated Marketplace and last fota (post-26March)
* Sometimes when the device is in deep sleep the first time that power button is pressed dont switch the display on inmediatly: Known bug. Happens too in other devices https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=937288
* Half of the screen turns black: We cannot reproduce it.
* Touchscreen act weid: We cannot reproduce it. If it happens with new fota (post 26-March) post it.
* "No sim card" in notification related with data usage: Error identified. Working to fix it. (Fota 7-April)

Bugs that we are working on:

* Number of app icons per screen: Known bug. It's related with the screen size. Mozilla dont support this size so 1 icon is hidden when you add more that 4 rows. We will try to fix it.
* Cellular & Data: Network type preference setting under Network operator is not saved: Known bug. Working on it.
* GPS is currently only working in some apps: Tested in GPSDashboard and hardware is working. Will see if we cant identify what is happening with the rest.
* Black screen in some games and apps: Known bug. It's related to Mozilla not supporting PVR graphic chipset. They not supports it in master branch and we are backporting this to 1.3. If you get a blackscreen in anything related with images (games, gallery, etc.) it's related with this bug. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=950050
* Videos played with 720p has a green line: Known bug. This was added for not 720p https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=785275. Testing if without this patch if fixed.
* When a wired headset is connected and the device is un deep sleep a sound is played in the speaker: This is now 2 bugs:
  - When in deep sleep the audio out is speaker by default (Fixed in 7-April fota)
  - When in deep sleep and using headphone there is a static noise in headphones. (If you connect a usb cable the noise dissaperars)
* When importing contact from VCF files some of them are not imported. Seems related with https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=966622, but this patch is already in our images, so maybe it's related with this one: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=962215 that is already patched  too.
* Gsensor works in orientation, but not in some games.
* Vibrator doesnt work in deep sleep.

If you have more bugs please post here and i will update this list. When a bug is resolved i will update it too.

With the release of the 1.3 branch and the change of 1.1 as stable the update of 1.1 branch is now of a weekly image, because the changes in this images will be a few and there is no need to build it daily.

1.3 images will be build daily and you will receive the update ota, but you need to install the image as explained in the sticky post.

Roms / V1.3 Images
« on: December 11, 2013, 01:22:22 AM »
As allways we are the first to release new official images for your devices. Mozilla released 1.3 this week and now you can use it in your Keon and Peak.

For Keon and Peak: http://downloads.geeksphone.com/

To flash it, you can follow this manual: http://downloads.geeksphone.com/drivers/Manual_flash_geeksphone-eng.txt

When flashing you will be asked to maintain you user data if you wish, but this may only work in upgrades of the same version, so if you try to keep your data and it doesnt boot, reflash it selecting not to keep your data.

KEON by (gp) / New stable image (1.1)
« on: November 15, 2013, 04:05:08 AM »
As promised, the 1.1 stable is released. If you have 1.0.1 stable will receive a update request. Make sure you have a wifi connection, because it's a big file. Once accepted, the download will start and the update will be applied. Once applied the device will reboot and you will get a Keon with a 1.1 stable operating system. All your data, contacts, etc. will be available.

If you have any other version, you will not receive any request with this update, so if you like to use the stable version you will need to flash the image that you can download from http://downloads.geeksphone.com/ (Latest Stable). Bear in mind that keeping your data when updating to this image is not supported and could cause many problems.

Once you flash this image or update it by FOTA you will only receive update request for stable images, not for "normal" 1.1 or any other version.

PEAK by (gp) / Imagenes estables 1.1
« on: October 24, 2013, 06:32:43 AM »

In this image we have added some patches that has not been added to mozilla's code already. They have them and are working in adding them, but we think that you don't need to wait for this patches to be included in the code, so we release this image as soon as we fixed it.
