Downloading files to microSD
« on: October 12, 2014, 07:04:39 AM »
Hello,

I got a microSD card for the GP revolution. In the settings app it is recognised and the default media download is to sd-card (actually I cant change it to anything else).

However, I thought that downloading in the b2g browser is done by touching for a long time. In my case this only asks me if I want to open the link in an additional tab. In the case of a PDF file the tab is opend and the PDF is immediately opened by a PDF-viewer. I can't seem to get the PDF onto the microSD. for epub-files nothing at all happens, the installed epub-reader does not open and the files is not downloaded.

Any hints on what I am doing wrong?

If you're on android, you can just move it from your storage to sdcard.

Well I am not on Android but on FFOS 1.3.

I have now manually copied some epub files to the SD card. I can see them with the file manager, but the two apps for reading epubs in the marketplace do not find the files. Both scan the SD card but report no files found.

Anyone with some experience in reading ebooks on the geeksphone revolution under firefox?
