See javascript code for a packaged app?
« on: September 23, 2013, 03:08:04 AM »
When a packaged app is loaded onto a device, is the javascript/html visible?  Could I, for example, use the adb shell to navigate to a directory on the phone and view the source code?

In installed a "privileged" packaged app onto my device (via the emulator).

Then:

adb pull /data/local/webapps/95ab29d8-9428-a540-bf03-3c50fbb7b0e9/application.zip
unzip application.zip

This allows me to see the JavaScript (and all other assets associated with the app).

This is also true of apps installed via the Firefox Marketplace.

So the answer to your question, it would seem, is yes.
