I think we should appoint Ricardo as Geeksphone's MEV (FSM in english :)

Agree  ;)
I think you should close this topic or remove it.

Input #0, mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2, from 'VID_20110330_231821.m4v':
   Duration: 00:00:10.43, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 1374 kb/s
    Stream #0.0(eng): Audio: aac, 16000 Hz, mono, s16, 96 kb/s
    Stream #0.1(eng): Video: mpeg4, yuv420p, 640x480 [PAR 1:1 DAR 4:3], 978 kb/s , 20.14 fps

+ FPS ==> + buffers ==> - RAM en el sistema

Tried to reply in the blog but it did not work.

I hope the chipset is a typing error I hope? MSM7627 is a CDMA-chipset, whilst specifications say GSM. :S Major networks in Europa are GSM, not CDMA.

It's a 7227, don't worry about that.

If i'm not wrong, OS:froyo. Rom manager by default, so you'll be able migrate to CM immediatelly.

Correct. The stock ROM on the ZERO is AOSP 2.2.1, and includes some third-party apps, including ROM Manager.

CM support for the ZERO was enabled yesterday, and the CM7RC3 releases will be include the ZERO (which will make it appear in RM).

I just updated to  RCMod 4.0.0 and most of it seems to work good, except I don't seem to have a camera application any more.  Have I done something wrong?

Your /system is probably full and your installation incomplete. Did you install the HDPI gapps package? If so, get rid of it. (run "adb shell wipe system", followed by a reinstall of rcmod and the universal gapps)

I updated from pre 4 to 4.0.0 and everything seems to be ok. But the Wifi Zone doesn't work, when I try to activate it says "error"

I dont have a data plan, so I dont know if it is normal. But when I activate USB Tether it works.

Tethering needs something to tether to... USB can tether you to wifi, but on a wifi hotspot the only available option for an uplink is mobile radio.

Rmcc could you explain the modification that you have done to answer phone and stop phone call with green and red button? :)

Contextual interpretation: If the telephony subsystem has an incoming call (or is in-call), they act as SEND/END. Otherwise, they're MENU/BACK.

May be we can start to talk about CyanogenMod 7 ?
A lot of questions, but whio can supply? 8)

rmcc, do you have any "internal"  :-X information  about CM7?

Yeah, I'm still working on some space-restriction issues, but the current nightlies are working.

(gp) Zero / Re: Best way to fit Android buttons in ZERO
« on: January 21, 2011, 07:11:20 AM »
Leaving aside that your priority order might not be shared by everyone, what sense does it make to have the button with the "highest priority" to the left and the "not so important" one to the right? is left somehow better than right? Isn't it better to have important buttons close to the center?

And by the way, I use [back] a lot more than [home]

Home back menu search. :D

By priority order. Home is the most important, then back, and then menu. Search is not so important so i put it on the right.

I guess that's beacouse if you pick the phone with your right-hand (aprox 90% of users are right-handed) the closer to the left is easier to press with the thumb finger :-)

And yes, I use more the back button and the menu button than the home. For me, the order of the ONe is OK, and I preffer the search button to be appart (similar to the tattoo :P)

"Home / Menu / Back / Search" or "Home / Menu / Search / Back": The first is how my current phone works, the second is how I'd like it to be :)

Then install the market on RcMod4 :D
That's not a solution for me for just one application that do not need the google api...

In fact i have got the answer of wavescure, android 2.3 is not supported for the moment so we need to wait until will could have one version.

After that i expect that they will send me a version by email or that rmcc will include it on is mod. :)

Sorry, I won't be including it.
RCMod4 is tight enough for space as it is right now, so no more apps. As Javier suggested: use the Market. The "unauthorized" excuse can't be used anymore, since the ONE has been certified for the google apps: Geeksphone can now provide you with a Froyo image with integrated Google Apps (I can't, but I'm sure you'll be able to use google to figure out how to do it). If you don't want to use google APIs, don't use a Google-produced OS.

If that doesn't work for you, feel free to contact the authors of said app (McAfee/TenCube) to find an alternative means of delivery: Geeksphone's promotion and agreement with TenCube applies to what's distributed by Geeksphone themselves, not to me. And, FWIW, I'm using WaveSecure on android 2.3 without any issues.
